Im really happy with my Airaid/Poweraid setup. Gladly get you one if you need a hook up. I love the sound. If I brake stall a bit sounds like a small turbo spoolin

You might want to read the current post in this forum by TByrne about the King Cobra as well before you make any decisions.

K&N FIPK....I checked in to this.............I found out not much for the newer 8.1 (04) model yet. I think it's because of the OBD II system.
I tried to get a large fuel tank...........they make them all except 04 because of the OBD II

don't change anything, the OEM air breather works find, it will keep the water/mud out where the cold intake system won't. so maybe put K & N in place of old air filter and go. I also did not see improvement in power or mpg. I also had a 2000 gmc duallie, my power and mpg went down when I installed a cold air filter. If you still want one I'll sell you mine off a 2002 2500 hd 8.1l. also I have a MAF problem and chevy will not fix due too the K&N filter.

Scott, have you tried to clean the MAF with electrical contact cleaner availble from auto parts stores. It should clean the oil off of the MAF. You just spray it on until the oil is gone and let it dry. Do not touch the wires because they look kind of delicate. Give it a try it make cure your problem of bad readings from the MAF.:head:
