I have a high flow cat that I had installed not too long ago.....but I didnt change the muffler because it was a CVX that was on the truck when I bought it...and the flow chart on the underside of the muffler says it out flows a flow master...but who the hell knows...it is really old (My guess 8 or 9 years) and probably has a lot of build up inside...any how I am getting the 40series put in its place next week....should I leave the dual tail pipes or just do a turn down set up??? I have not had any problems with exaust clearence...what do you guys think? any power difference??

I also have a cut out after the cat that I installed a long time ago ( before high flow cat was installed) should I eliminate this or leave it when I have the new muffler put in?

BTW is a magna-flow better than a Flow master????

Personally, I like the look of turndowns (that is, no visible exhaust tips) on a lowered truck. The power difference between turndowns on the muffler and pipes out the back is minimal, so I wouldn't worry about it unless you plan to drag race the truck.;)
As for the cutout, I don't see much point in it unless you race or just like the sound. If you race, it should be in front of the cat anyway.

yea I figured the cut out was useless, ever since I had the high flow cat installed....I will get rid of it...as far as pipes I will leave em on , because I can always put turn downs on If I change my mind or go any lower....thanks
