i have a 94 with a 5.7 350 and im not that good with engines.. but i replaced my plugs with the right gap and replaced the plug wires. and now it runs rough and i cant figure out what is wrong with it. any help would be good.

Make sure the plug wires pop onto the ends of the plugs. They usually take quite a bit of effort to get them to pop on and you should be able to feel it when they do. Also try checking the timing.

This might be a silly question but---- Are you sure you got the wires in the correct positions?? If two of them are switched it will still run but it will run rough.

the firing order of a small block chevrolet 1955-1999 gen1 engines:
1 - 8 - 4 - 3 - 6 - 5 - 7 - 2

#1 is usually the wire on the cap at the 5 o'lock position viewing
it from the top. in a clock-wisw rotation follow the wire to the
corrosponding spark plug.
