I made this diagram for my dual port bag setup. I made it so that I can figure out what fittings I need to get. If anyone can tell me where I can get fittings FAST let me know. I'm in San Diego and the truck is going to Sacramento (600 mi away) to get bagged. It has to go on the 8th of July, so I can't afford to wait for shipping delays. I am also $300 over budget so I need to keep prices low.

I'm the one doing the work. The only shops that I know of out there is Aftermarket (got20s.com) and they are the most expensive I've EVER seen. And not to knock Larry but he was the first person I spoke to about all my other parts, but unfortunately his quote was $2400 for my list and that was without a 4 link and air commander. Jason hooked me up and I got everything I needed (except fittings) for less.

I know Larry has DOT fittings, KP has DOT fitting too I think and they are maybe an hour/hour and a half away from Sac.

theirs a few shops in san diego that could do ur bag work

http://members.cox.net/kbdesigns/

is the shop i would use,
my cuzn used to go 4wheeling with them all the time in Yuma, AZ,
i remember when that shop started out in a driveway, witch used to be downsouth right off the 5 freeway, about 2 blocks away where my parents live, but now the shop moved up to cann-tee, and the guy moved to spring valley

theirs another shop in la mesa that does good work, last time i was home i went and checked out the shop
they are on la mesa blvd
i can't find their card right now

theirs a shop out in Yuma AZ that does some really good work,
www.jakdupkustoms.com
ive been to the shop a few times and have seen alot of the work they have done and its good,
also this weekend im driving out to Yuma, so i'll probably go on over to the shop again

their was another drive way shop in national city, its off of the 805, i can't remember the name of the next but their is a mc-d's by it, and follow that road, unto u run into the road that has the 7-11 on the corner, and make a right their and right about where the hill starts to straighten out, like one or two houses down, on the right side, the guy bags trucks in his drive-way

i have a friend that lives on that street but i never went over their and checked out his work myself

theirs a place on bontia road, its a car audio shop, they bag rides but they are pretty much wack, i never really liked the work they have done when it comes to bags, but the car audio work they do is nice tho,
one of my friends knows the owners of that shop

maybe u can hit one those shops up and get the fittings u need

Damn, thats a lot of info. Thanks!

I was at home depot the other day and I noticed how cheap the copper line and fittings are. What do you guys think about going with a copper hardline?

Don't do it. IT will crack over time. I find it interesting that you have to send a truck up north to have work do on it.

The hardware store fittings will work but aren't DOT approved. If you're worried about being safe or will be running higher pressure get the DOT ones.

I live and work in San Diego, and I have access to a shop with all neccessary tools up north. Also I am originally from Sacramento, so all of my connections are there. I have friends that work at a few reputable shops out there, and they have AV equipment and body work for me. Here in San Diego, I don't really know anyone who is in the business. Or at least anyone friendly enough to help me out.

I just ordered compression fittings from Phil at http://www.ultimatesporttruck.com
I just told him my criteria, what fittings I needed and the impossible deadline, and he came through famously. He emailed me back the same day with an estimate for DOT compression fittings that included 2 day air shipping to meet my deadline. That estimate beat out what I was about to pay at home depot just for 1 type of fitting! I recommend getting all link and bag hardware through Jason at Suicide doors and all fittings through Phil. Both provided great prices and service.
I'll probably be posting a step by step after I get this done over the weekend.

Any truckin supply store would have the DOT fittings. I work at one here in Baltimore MD and they have an aisle of nothing but brass fitting, compression and push lock style. If you have a list of what you need I might be able to see about getting them for you at my cost. I'm looking to do an airbag install myself in the future and your diagram may just help me out in the long run. Just one question though, why is there 3 valves per bag? Wouldn't I just need 2? One for up and one for down?
