Hi all. First I apologize for asking a newbie question. I am struggling to find an exhaust system for my "new to me" 1993 3500 Dually. It has the 7.4l 454. When I looked under it the cat appears to be in line AFTER the muffler  Can anyone point me in the direction of a quality exhaust system so I can finally let my truck breathe? :D Thanks in advance

Keith

No one can make any suggestions? Are there even any kits made (Can't find any on the net) or do I have to do a full custom myself?

Dynomax and flowmaster have systems for your truck....My 1 ton 3500 had the cat before the muffler and a large resonator after the muffler, maybe that is what you see after the muffler....also the stock cats are a real power killer so you want want to go with a random tech, catco or magnaflow cat while doing your system.

Awesome! Thank you. Ideally I would like a pre bent kit so I could just put it up there and weld it in....

I am definitely doing a new cat as well....good advice :D

Our dually has the factory y pipe comin down off the exhaust manifolds, a high flow cat dualed into 2 1/2 pipe with some cheap turbo mufflers.Sounds reall good at idle, sounds good gettin on it but it's never loud and you can't hear it goin down the road.

The low end didn't change but the mid range and top end was alot better.Seemed to rev out better.

Cool. At this point I am looking at doing a single 3 inch system, hi flow cat and 2 chamber muffler. I want the NASCAR style rumble :D
