I have always heard a small noise coming from under my dash, seems to be near the A/C compartment that is under/behind the glove box. It sounds like water dropping onto plastic and there has always been about 2 or 3 seconds between each of the drops. it was very hard to hear it and it really didnt bother me much, it was super subtle, that is....until about 2 weeks ago.
It has started to get substantially louder and the drops seem to be falling a lot faster. It really does sound like water dropping, it doesnt sound much like "clicks", it sounds more like "little thumps". So now its really annoying, If I have the radio at regular listening / conversation level Its as loud as the radio.
Super annoying, so I want to check it out thoroughly before going to the dealer. Anyone having or has had a smilar problem ? I found a thread about water coming in from a "door" that helps recycle the air in the cab located around this area, could this be the problem ? How Can I find this mysterious Door thingy ?
