James is coming over Sunday to help me remove the PWM in the trans....just need to install the front pumpkin assembly and finish installing the engine...goal is to get it all together before the end of this year!

Where did you get those UBolts?? They appear kinda bent at the bottoms.

Yeah those ubolts look kinda scary. They're a little long, and they'll bend the first time you hit them on anything. Maybe you should trim them down.

The larger brakes will help stopping a bit better. Did check the condition of the govenor lock on the 14-bolt? They are know to grenade pretty easily if subject to too many hole shots (read: abused). I replaced my busted unit with an Eaton.

The ubolts look like that because hes probably running the wrong plate (above spring). He also might be running the wrong ubolt craddle but cant tell from the pic.

Why did you run blocks?

i have a 3/4 ton 88 pickup but my 14 bolt looks diff. did they ever make a semi float 10.5 rear with the six bolt axles???

lol, yea, trim the u-bolts if you take it offroad grass/tall weeds will get wound up in there

8 lug, full floating only.
