If you want the best bass possible and a way to measure how loud your system is playing, the EPIC-160 is the perfect product for you. The EPIC-160 is an expert combination of the patented bass enhancement circuits from The Epicenter along with a microphone and 160 dB SPL (sound pressure level) display. The display will show real time SPL or hold the highest value so you can show your friends. It also will display voltage so you can monitor your vehicle's electrical systems. With AudioControl's unique Para-bass equalization control, you select the frequency and bandwidth for the enhanced bass action. The EPIC-160 gives you great bass and a way to see the result.

Anyone have experience with this? I was thinking about getting one just to mess around with, and i think that the SPL meter (even tho not as accurate as the TermLab meter) would be cool to play with. I found it for $189 on-line.

While the accuracy of the unit may not be perfect, it will definately help keep track of tuning and changing components.

Also, AudioControl stuff is the best there is. In the analog realm, there is no higher quality products.

The question is, will this product fit your needs?
