Well i first installed this thing with a steak knife i found in my kitchen :hack:, and some tape.... and this is how it turned out:

You can see the gaps on the bottom, side, and how it was just :puke:
After a few weekends... i took another way about doing it... i had to do it twice cause the first time i did it, the screen was tilted :bawl: :guns:
here are the new pics:

This shows my mad paint skillz  ... aside from the dust and crap on it... it gives a great reflection (me lying down beside it on the sidewalk)

Cause i really didnt want to bother retexturing it and dying it.... so i figured i would paint it the most universal color i could think of... :charge:

Are you gonna paint any interior or dash parts black now, if not maybe you should so it won't stand out as much.

how hard was the fibergalssin?
Luke2kZ71
10-01-2004, 10:21 AM
no fiberglass used... i just a 2 part plastic advesive/filler, polyster flexable body filler, and some spot puddy.. then plenty of primer and paint. I think i may make another to sell, if i do that, i will make a howto probally...

put it in your dash then make a center console to house your cd player and a/c panel... or make a console to house the screen...

Looks good Luke. Very nice paint job. I may have to invest in a paint set-up for messing around like that. I already have the compressor. Yours turned out really good.

thats what i was thinking, neways, people on here should be smart enough to be able to identify their console with the one in the picture, if they dont look the same, dont get them.
