wel i just finnished doing the needles mod for my truck. i wanna know what else i could paint up in there and have it not look like it's too much. im open to any suggestions, maybe you guys have some better ideas than i do. BTW i have painted the ring around my handles and the 4X4 indicator plastic deal that is on the floor.....

i thought that the hardest part was getting that oragnge crap off the needles. after that i just had some1 drive at 50 mph next to me while i stabbed the speed needle on and then had them slow to 40 and make sure it was fine there. and then we got on the interstae and cruised at 70 to triple check and it was actually runnig 1 or so mph slow, and since our trucks run at about 2K at 70 in OD, i waited till we hit 70, then pushed the cruise and stabbed the tach needel. everything else was remembering what temp you truck runs, how many volts and how mush oil psi and gas was in it. if you decide to repaint then any color like i did (white for me) make sure that you eiether tape the part of the needle where the light will go in, otherwise it makes the needle REALLY dim. also tape the 3 sides that you can see from your seat so you can actually see that needle when it is dark. if yall have anymore questions just ask. it was a fun learning experiance.....

how do you get the dash molding all the way off? I cant get my airbag and dome light plugs to come apart. Is there some trick to it?

you mean the plate and all?? if so there are a few little tab like deals that just clip over the edge, if you can get you dash far enuff out so you can look back there, you will see what i am talkin about. ther are pretty small so becarefull when you remove them. you do have to bend the a little, but just dont go hogg wild and bend them really far. but after rea reading it if you mean how did i get the part off that is painted white, i didnt. i just took some time and tapped that bish up. hope this helps....

no i never get dust that shows alot, my town is like the central train tracks crossing in the united states so we have ALOT of trains stopping traffic, and that means extra time for detailing.... and as far as passengers go, they all know how picky i am about my truck and how clean it is so if they have a pop it always has a lid on it, and if it's from mcd's or something it never goes in the cup holder, that stupid thing is too small anyhow. just take your time when you tape, and use the krylon fusion paint, that stuff is awesome, dreis enuff to handle in about 5 to 10 minuets.
