Well I painted my dash trim stuff, and my air vents blue to go with my truck. I didn't fully sand it so it still has some texture. This Winter I want to take every plastic piece in my truck off and paint it. Im thinking of doing this. The actual piece that runs from the inside of the windsheild to the dash will go black, a nice glossy looking black. The trim around the gauges, vents, and the pillars will go Blue. Does anybody know how to take off that huge peice to paint it? And how would i paint that "o-**** bar"? yaknow the one thats infront of the passenger seat, above the glovebox, seems rubbery. Can anyone help me with this? And i just have to sand it down real hardcore than use a filler primer, than shoot my paint right? Or do i need some more stuff. thanx

youve got the gist of it, just make sure you use a plastic adhesion promoter. Sanding is a bish!

I redid the whole interior of my truck with Krylon Fusion. I used blue and black and it turned out really good. I used SEM gloss black for the vinyl and cloth parts.

I need to carry some pictures around to show people the difference. They see the blue and the black and think I just pulled a few things off and painted them blue. They don't realize that GM never made a black interior and it all has been painted. Oh well I still think it looks pretty good.
