View Full Version : Changing Guage Light Color??

I have an '89 K1500, and I would like to change the gauge lighting from green to red. If anyone has any ideas on how to do this, please let me know.

Im in the process of doing this, basically you gotta take the gauges out of the cluster and there is green plastic on the back of them that you gotta cut out holes around where the moons go and then change the 194 bulbs to red bulbs.

Okay, I have taken it apart before, and I figured I would have to either remove the green plastic sheet somehow. I was hoping it was just the bulbs, but I guess GM has to make it more difficult than that. Thanks for the help.

Ill try and get some tomorrow. Im not finished but Ill photoshop what Im gonna do for each gauge.
