04 6stack in 00?

I think I already know the answer to this, but i'll ask anyway.

My truck just has the single built in cd. Now my friend is doing a full system in his 04 and If I can get his 6stack headunit to work in my truck I can have it. I can have the whole stock system if I want.
Will it surpass my wildest dreams and simply plug in?

Head unit is too big. The 99-02 are 1.5 DIN high, 03-05 are 2 DIN.

I believe it's fairly easy to add a remote magazine type six disc changer to a 99-02 though, or even a six disc slot load from a 01-02 Denali/Escalade.

yup. shyt.. I might have to look into a whole denali/c3 console. Install the DIC with it the cd.
