Glow Flame LEDS

Hey guys i just got done installing nu imiage glow flame gauages in the 94 Z71. I got the blue gauges and made my Needles clear at the same time. I still have the stock bulbs in there and the needles light up a yellow color because of the stock bulbs and you can also see yellow light around the needle base as well. Any ways i want to fix that some how. Will blue leds work to fix this without messing up the red color of the numbers?? If i use leds what ones should i get? How many leds per bulb?? Will i still be able to dim the dash with leds? Would i be better off using regular bule bulbs or just painting the needles?? Thanx for any help.
