View Full Version : Wanted: im not sure what its called! Bag riser?

I need a small puck that fits under the base of an f9000 bag. I know art makes them out of aluminum and they are about an inch tall but they are way too expensive.

If anyone has two laying around or knows of something else i could use let me know!!

I had some about a year ago when i took the old bag setup off, im not sure if they are still laying around or not, I'll check when i get home from work tomorrow.

Sorry jimmy, couldn't find them, they must have gotten thrown away in one of my cleaning rages.

Scrap piece of solid stock would work or like suggested get a machine shop to make some.

What are they and what are they for?? They are not need to run the F9000s are they?? Don't tell me I'm going to have to buy more parts for my bag set-up??

well i dont think you actually need them. The only reason I ended up needed them was because I set my rear end up for a larger tire. These little spacers just take up the extra room. Not sure if that makes sense.

I guess they also keep the f9000s from hitting the bottom bag bracket when deflated...might prevent some minor wear but i have never heard that you had to use them.

i can...so i hope so.

Right now I have my shocks set up to limit them to the 12" or whatever they are supposed to be limited at. But without these little spacers I cant inflate them all the way because its beyond their limit. Just the way I set it up off the bat.

If I ever decide to go with a bigger tire I can just get different shocks, shorten the bumpstop and remove the bag spacers.

the billet spacers arent necessary. Freind has been bagged with f9000's for almost a year, and they do not wear at all from hittin the lower bracket. Here's a pic of dad's airbar fully lifted

Hey Jimmy, I might have found something that will work for you. But I need to know the size of the bottom of the bag mount. These things are 3" wide by 1" thick. The line in the middle is cut all the way through. You would just have to drill a hole for your bolt. They are made out of solid steel.

I am going to toss the "cups" we made for my slams to go over the axle, if you want them I can ship them to you:)

by the way i dont think i ever "toss" anything...:D

and I know these arent neccasary for the sleeve bags but like I said I need them so the bag limits at the same time the shock does...not before.
