Greetings from central Texas

Greetings all -- another "new guy" here.

I recently bought a 2000 Sliverado single cab stepside --

I commute about 80 miles a day plus sales calls (I sell swimming pools). The '00 is a 4.3 6 - so I have hopes the "performance" mods I plan to do will help with gas mileage - I just sold what my 13 year old called the "boring white truck" - it was a 3/4 ton plain Jane rubber floor mat non-power window 1999.

Only modification so far is a set of 20's with 275 50 Goodyears.

Mycurrent stable of drivers is a '77 Vette, '72 Blazer, and the newly aquired 2000 Sliverado. Oh yeah and my wife drives a 2001 Yukon 4wd.

My wife and I have a don't ask don't tell policy --- I don't ask how much it cost for her dog training and shows and she doesn't ask me how much it cost to keep my cars on the road.

I'm sure I'll be on the other forums reads the how to post/replies and asking an occasional question.
