I think there's some polish on the market that's just for taking the haze off of lenses, just go check the local auto store.

I attempted to fix my old stock lights with by wetsanding and clearcoating but I got frustrated and gave up, it can be done though.

Zaino worked well for me but so did regular ol Meguiars. On the ones I used to replace the stockers I ef'd up on my Yukon, I used Meguiars clear plastic polish and I also have some stuff called "Novus" that I picked up at a plastics store "taps plastic" that does custom plastics for building, cars, whatever. I used this and followed it up with a good wax and they cleaned up MINT.

If its scratching and such, I would use the polish and follow with a good wax that will not chew up plastic (Zaino works great for this). Any polish will work, grab some meguiars or something and give it a shot. If not, hell, have them re-cleared at a body shop. Guys was going to charge me like 15 bucks to shoot my old ones with auto clear. Ask if you can bring them in when they are clearing a panel or something so its already in the gun. They'll just shoot it right there.

find the polish for lights, its like a paste with super fine sanding particles that take away scrathes/oxidization and make them look new

right, meguiars and others make it, can be found at your local parts store.

I would absolutely try to bring them back to life first. Get more aggressive as you go until you get the results you are after. If all else fails then re-clear.

Thats what I would do anyway...but my girl says I aint so smart sometimes, but thats only usually after I walk into a closed glass door or try a back flip on the front lawn when I am hammered.
