View Full Version : i need help;console with a 10" sub in it

hey guys i wanna build a console and put the new kicker sqaure sub in it. i just wanna put a 10" in there bc 12" would be retarted loud in my face. i wanna know is there a certin amount of space you have to give it to sound good?

i have a 99nbs with the middle bunch seat flip. so i have limited room to work with and i really wanna start on this project after christmass. so could i please get some help.

With the L7 Kicker recommends aleast 0.66 cubic feet and a max of 1 cubic feet. So you shouldnt have too hard of a time fitting it. If your not too attached to your middle seat I would suggest building a full length fiberglass console that houses the kicker and whatever else in there.

On an slightly interesting note, Kicker calls their square sub the "L7" for a reason.....The "L" and the "7" create a square....tricky;)

yea thats what i wanna do. get rid of the seat and make a console. idk if im gonna make it out of fiber glass tho. i dont know how to do it but it could be a project. im gonna have to read up on it.
