they look great!!! and I would do definately if I had didn't have a stepside. I want them, but I just don't know how well they would hold up in a fiberglass bed. I have seen it done w/stepsides, and I'll have to get some more information first.

I should have a set with the clear on the botom for the BU shortly . I am going to be doing a tech article on the set I am going to start installing on Monday stay tuned to the exterior forum for posts!

If there was a way to weld in buckets without screwin up my linex and having to try and get it redone i'd consider it

alteredimage
01-28-2006, 08:48 PM
It really shouldn't touch the linex. the fillr will stop before the linex starts unless you have where the gate closes linexed?

nebraskaz71

my linex comes to the upper body line so the top of the filler would need to be welded right where line x ........... theres linex right up to the top of my taillights

Oh I see now you have it over the rail.

Anyone know how well these would hold up in a stepside/ fiberglass bed? I know the fillers would be welded in, but they'd have to glass around the lights. I haven't seen too many stepsides with caddy lights

This bed is a whore. It was on 2 different trucks before it made it to this truck and it's been on at least 1 other truck since this one. The Caddy lights were probably 2 years old in this pic and each truck the bed was on was a daily driver. They've held up wonderfully.

Didn't they cut the center tag area out of the glass pan and replace it with a section from a Camaro door?

i cant wait to see the pics! for the white lights (reverse) i got a wiring harness from APC through FBI mini and its a replica of the factory pigtails from GM. these removed the factory taillight harness completely from under the bed and i replaced it with this one....is that going to be a problem with the reverse lights??
