View Full Version : Mid 13's daily driven
I'm a former LS1 guy that went to the truck world. I love my truck but miss the LS1 performance. My truck is an '05 RCSB 5.3 and is bone stock performance wise right now. I use my truck about 60miles daily, and need it to be reliable, run will, maintain a modicum of fuel economy. I want to avoid forced induction and nitrous. So I'm thinking, intake, full exhaust, tune, some sort of a torque converter, and a cam. The thing is I have no idea what to run for any of these parts, and if I do will it be enough to satisfy my performance goals? I dont have much of an idea what to run on these truck as far as intake, exhaust, what headers fit well, what gring for a cam, how high of a stall and so on. I'm just starting to learn on performance with these and will be doing a lot of reading, but if anyone wants to offer some advice I'd appreciate it.
