Hey gusy ive got the MSD 6A box with GM Blaster coil and msd wires (crapola). What does anyone that has this simaliar set up advise for spark plugs, cap and rotor ?
It seems that this set up is literally eating caps and rotors and while im at it im replacing the wires because nex tto all of them have craped out and im gunna change the plugs so its all done at once.
Has anyone had any problems with MSD boxes destroying caps and rotors ? It seems like it jsut melts the rotors and them the cap starts to look like its been arcing bad. As well the wires are crap anyone had this with the MSD 8.5mm wires ?
Thanks, Stefak

I don't have that set up, but good plgs are NGK IRIDIUMS, I think the TR 55's are the ones for the 350 Chevy.

if by Boch you mean Bosch, dont there stuff is garbage, multi tip plugs and all, try using Accel Cap and Rotor or something else with heavy duty brass terminal ends.

In my experiences I have found that you can never go wrong by using one manufacturers rntire line. They are usually tested to work together. Tey the MSD products to match that ignition, if you continue to have problems search elsewhere.
