Let me see your 95-99 Dash HU Install's please

I'm trying to get ideas whether or not to upgrade the factory tape deck, to a CD player. I don't like the 88-94 dash's, for sure. If I get a install kit, won't I be able to have a compartment under the headunit?
If you have an aftermarket HU in a 95-99, lemme see it! (please)

Heres how i used to have my dash. Recently i sold the screen for lack of use and put the factory unit back up top hopefully as a deterent to thiefs. Its not hooked up but when the face of the alpine slides back in you'd never know i had a cd player.
