any ideas on how to fit my 2 w6v2 subs under the back seat for ported if possible but if not seald, ive bought 2 pre fabbed boxes and neither fit the subs, i had to customize one (downfiring only 1 cub of airspace) and i wasent happy with the performance, then i bought another (front firing 1.42 cubs airspace) and i cant even get the subs to fit in the hole because of the basket hits the lip.....

these are some things i am not willing to do
1. lift backseat more then 1 inch.
2. use some of my bed.

if it is a sealed box i want it downfiring and if ported i dont care

please ive been working on this for months now, and i need to find a final solution, money is not really an object, i can spend 700 or less i guess. :burn:

i would have to imagine that since you tried a front fire box, you have 10's?

why not just trim the hole to fit the subs in the front fire box?

was that 1 cube for both subs down fire or 1 cube each?

i forgot to say i had 12" subs

the box has a lip and my subs stick out 4 to 5 inch. it will take some work to make them fit

was the air space 1 cube each you tried?

subzero has a box (ctd1200) that is .91 cube per sub (1.8 cubes total), with a 7" mounting depth, dual down fire sealed.

i don't know if exhalted512 still has his old box, it would work for you. he custom built one for his other truck for 2 12's forward fire. pretty big 12's, so i'm sure your JL's would fit.

lift the seat and build your own box. **** prefab.
