on my 95 i have red interior. is there anywhere i can get black or grey "cloth" inserts for my doors (the felt kinda stuff above the arm rests)

i guess if it comes down to it i can use tan... im trying to go black and gray because i have red... so i think tan and black might look a little out of place

Check ebay, or call a local upolstry(sp?) shop.

thats what i was thinking. i really like your guages.

i was just looking at some pics and have sort of a weird/stupid question.... can a chevy 1500 use the dash out of a s10? because they look really similar.

I don't know....I'm sure you could get them to work, as long as they have the same connections. You'd have to account for tire size, engine(V6/V8), and stuff like that. It would almost be more work than it's worth. IMO

The s10 dash wont be as wide.

thats what i was thinking.... what about the doors ?

also, i think i want to get rid of my power windows to keep things more simple.... sound like a bad idea ?

You can do it yourself, you just need the matiral some good quality glue and a stuffing tool You just mask it off apply glue to both sufraces put it over the factory insert smooth it out then tuck the edges in with the stuffing tool then trim it with an exacto knife. its pretty easy.

what would i use to get the old cover off the insert ? or do i just glue on top of it.??

Not trying to jack your thread, but i noticed two different types of inserts: One type was a panel that popped on and off, and the other was the material glued onto the door panel itself. If you have the first type, I am sure it will be easier to do. Anyone know what applications these two types are used on?
