I have a newer Pioneer Premier head unit. Best buy sells an interface for $120 that supposedly lets you control the ipod from your head unit. Does anyone have any experience with operating this? I need to know if I can use my pioneer remote to control the functions on the ipod, and how well it works. I was also wondering if the song title of the mp3(stored on the ipod) will scroll across the display of the pioneer head unit, like it would on a cd. Thanks in advance for any help.

since your not really getting any help i'll chime in. i don't have a pioneer h/u but i do have the same set up with an alpine. on mine it is just like running a cd. same buttons do the same things. artist shows on the h/u but the song title does not. i would assume that the remose should still work, just a guess though. sorry i couldnt be any more help.

anyone?

Yes, depending on your head unit. Your best bet is to visit Crutchfield's website and read up on it there. For the best functionality with the adapter, you're best off buying one of the newest head units. Older ones had some really bad bugs.
