All you need is a big enough lift and some mud terrain tires and your good to go. Roll on some 20" and take it off road....I have 20" rims with some 35" ties and a 10" lift on my 01 2WD 1500 Silverado and I drive it all. Sure you going to get suck.... but who doesn't. Check out one of my 4X4 buddy stuck and me pulling him out. I made it through but I guess he didn't give it enough gas. The file is attached.

Well, the big plans for the truck are to go 4WD....its possible…I’m collecting parts and studding up on it now. All that it takes is some custom fabbing.
The truck is sitting about 6” higher than it was before. I fabbed up a kit myself and installed. It wasn’t too hard… The hardest part was probably moving the rack and pinion steering and aliening it. Its all together now and good to go street or off road.
Attached are some pictures take this morning in the parking lot at my work.
