LMC Truck carries the OEM emblems for GM trucks. Download their catalog. They should be around page 30. However, if they said "SLE Sierra", then that's part # 39-3516 (LMC Truck). $34.95 for each emblem. You can get the 92-96 style for only $14.95/emblem (part # 29-9389). IMHO, the 92-96 style looks better.

Most people de-badge their truck anyway.

Look for a thread where someone bought a new truck and tell them it looks better with no badges (because it does) and when they take them off tell them you will pay shipping to have the old ones set to your door. I would have done it but mine are in the garbage now along with the side molding.

SLE is a specific package of options that GM offered. Usually you will see W/T, SL, SLE, and SLT packages for GM trucks (old and current).

EDIT: Fix a spelling mistake.

I have a 1990 SLE and I don't have leather. :) I don't think leather was even an option back then.

However, thanks for the link to the auction. I found something at that store I needed. Thanks!

SLE was the midlevel trim level, it had leater available as an option :D

IMO - just go to a dealer for the emblems if you must have them :D

Yes it is just a trim level package, And the SLT was the top of the line with leather. And chevy was just LE or LT, The SLE and SLT were GMC the S being for Sierra.

Are you sure about that? And if the S on the GMC didn't stand for Sierra, Then what did it stand for? And why would the Chevy not have the S?

If the S means Sierra, why do they use it on the Yukon and the Envoy, etc :smokin:

No idea what those trim level letters really mean, the only one that makes sense is the 'T' because that usually points to leater interior as 'standard' in that package...
