Hey everyone,

I just bought an 89 1500 and have slowly been upgrading things on it. It has a 94-98 conversion front end. I have bought two sets of headlights, both of which stick out from everything else about an inch, while the stock ones were flush. I even tried swapping the housings (stock and aftermarket) and they still stick out. I dont know what to do. Do any of you guys think you can direct me to a place where I can buy another set that doesn't stick out or maybe someone can tell me how to fix this problem The help would be greatly appreciated.

I've heard and seen a few sets of APC lights that did this. Some have said that if you swap the APC brackets with the stock ones it will correct this. But sounds like you have already tried it. Try getting a set of Matrix or TYC lights. Those seems to be the better aftermarket lights.
