I have a 4.3L V6 Silverado Z-71. I was just wondering what is a good sounding exhaust system for a V6?? I was planning on adding a couple of performance modifications after the exhaust. Also sound clips would also help a lot too! Thanks!

Well, Ive heard them with flows, and Ive heard them with turbos, but none of them sound as good as my chambered pipes. 3" out the converter, split to two 2 1/2" x 30" chambered pipes, over the axle and out the side. Chambered pipes take out the high freqs of a 6 at idle and up to about 2k. After that theres not a whole lot you can do to mask a 6.

So your saying I need to do a 4.3L to 5.3L or 5.7L engine swap to get a good sounding exhaust? If I do an engine swap what's a good sounding and powerful exhaust? Bullets, flowmasters, magnaflow...?
Thanks!

(IMO) That works, but a 6.0 would even sound better! I'm in the LOOKING for a good 'quiet' - quality sounding exhaust for my bagged 98 now - I had flowsmaters, like the sound (70's I think) ALMOST had a BB rumble like they said!
