Where could I find a set of long tube headers to buy online for an '04 5.3 liter?

So off of that site...if I buy the long tubes and y pipe, then I wouldn't have to cut up my stock pipe to attach the headers...I could just throw the stockers back on and bolt up the stock cats and pipe to the flange for smog inspection?

The Supermaxx system came with cats and y-pipe. Its ending point was at the stock location so I was able to then just bolt up the cat-back system without doing any modifications.
I want to say you can also just get the headers if you want without the cats and y-pipe, just not sure how that would hook up.
Hope this answered your question. If not shout back and I will try to do better.
Have a good day.

the pacesetter's do not have a y pipe with cat's. They do bolt up to the stock cat back, or any after market cat back....so tehre's no cutting or welding needed for installation. The stock y pipe with cats will not bolt up to the pacesetter's, so you would have to reinstall the stock manifolds to get the stock y pipe back on. I would just take it to the "right" inspection shop for a sticker:dunno:
either way you go, I don't think any of the long tube headers with or without cats are California approved.

Yeah..what I was saying was buy the headers and y pipes off of that site, and would the two of them bolt to the stock two bolt flange so that I wouldn't have to hack up my factory y pipe with cats. That way I could throw the stock manifolds on with the stock pipe for smog time. Thanks!

re-read my post, "stock two bolt flange" = cat back:crazy:
