Hi,

I'm looking or a CA. smog legal recommendation for a set of pipes for my 2005 2500HD Silverado 4x4 Ext. cab (6.0l engine / bone stock). I had dual pipe Flowmasters as part of the Ca. Concepts kit on my old Tahoe (and LOVED them), but am looking at other options. A buddy of mine suggested Borla, but i'm not that familiar with that brand.

I also plan to get a Hypertech PP III and K&N FIPK in the future, as well as upgrading to bigger / off road tires (no lift) when these wear out.

Any / all suggestion would be appreciated.

A stainless Magnaflow exhaust would be a cheaper system. Sounds good too. cant beat the straight through system. They have sound clips on there website. see my exhuast pics in the gallery.

just a heads up.......

mufflers are for noise.........

catalytic converters are for smog :read:
:D

that's why most kits sold say CAT-BACK :D

oh, and my favorite muffler is the dynomax bullet :D do a search on it, and you'll find it's a favorite of quiet a few people :rocking:
