I need to get a new washer pump. The wiper motor works fine so I don't want to spend more $ than I need to. The washer pump went out 2 years ago while the wipers have been working fine. I checked LMC and they have every year except the one for '84. For the 1984 they want you to buy the wiper and washer motors. I found one on Year One for the '84. Anyone ever gotten anything from Year One?
What I need is just the Windshield washer pump for a 1984 Chevy/GMC trucks. I don't want to go with the after market pump. I want to stick with the original stuff as much as possible.
I tried a few from the junk yard but they were crap.
Any ideas?

I used the rebuild kit from LMC on my 82 and the washer still works like crap. I went to Autozone and got the universal one that shows on their computer and it works great. You don't have to sit there and pump it like the stock one. Easy install too!

I bought a washer pump for my 85 at O-reillys auto...had them in stock :dunno:
If you want a GM part check the dealer...your trucks not that old. I went to my local dealer and bought all the chrome trim thats around the grille, they had it in stock and even had the clips.

:word: O'rielly has a big selection on parts for the 73-87's and it's normally all lifetime warranty.

I checked with the dealer and they won't sell the pump seperate from the wiper motor. I'd rather not spend the 300 when I can get away with only replacing what's broken for under a 100.
Thanks!:FSCrules:
