I know this doesn't apply to suspension but figured since most people in here are running larger wheels u'd have better input on this subject. For those of u that are running powerslot rotors or something similar did u see a large differeance in breaking? our tahoe doesn't like to stop very well with 40" tires towing a boat.

what were your experiances?

thanks

Hey man,

After the powerslot rotor upgrade WITH the hawk pads I definately felt a nice difference. Going with the plus size rotor wasn't in the cards so I found this to be a nice alternative.

It basically gave me the difference of not feeling so comfortable with slamming on the brakes with my heavy 20's (the truck basically felt like it would stop when it was ready)

To now where I can slam the brakes and it feels like I have more control, I can feel the firmness and the truck bites pretty good and stops quick.

Probably a combo of the pads and the rotor, but most definately worth the money, and really it wasnt TONS more than a standard oem upgrade with ceramic pads. So id say go for it.

For the ultimate increase replace that soft rubber brake line with the short run of stainless braided line and it will be a whole new truck!
