I'm putting an '04 2500HD back together. Today, I'm hooking up the wiring harnesses and am stumped. Throughout the project I have taken pictures and made tons of notes, but one of my friends who has helped me off and on unplugged the wiring harness that connects the clutch switch, brake lights switch, and a thrid copper tab. I cannot figure out what the third item on that harness is. I have the flat plug in the brake pedal, the clutch plug is plugged into the clutch safety switch and I am running into a brick wall with the copper tab. I think that it plugs into the parking brake assembly somehow, but since I did not take it apart, I am stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm basically doing a body-off restoration of a 04 reg cab 2500hd 4x4. It was involved in a low speed rollover that smashed up the cab, bed, and.. well pretty much all the sheet metal. There was no damage to the frame, engine, etc. I'm getting stoked about putting it back on the road. Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks!

Is it possible for someone w/ a 2003 or newer, manual shift, 6.0 liter check under their dash? It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
