Need help installing a 1984 chevrolet dash pad. I got it in, but, the back part of it flaps up and down and is loose... Can't figure out where I messed up. Thanks!

The back of the dash has some clips that slide into little notches on the metal part of the dash up next to the windshield. Are you sure that those clips slid into place?
