Hi all. Nice place you have here. I have a few questions pertaining to speakers and radios. I did a quick search and didnt get a deffinate answer. My 1st question is, who makes a sub box for a standard cab? It doesnt have to be nothing to win awards or anything just something to fit easily anf look clean.
2nd question, Where can I buy the stereo mounting kit for the truck? I just bought the truck yesterday and have no clue where to begin on installing a radio. Any and all help is appreciated.

THanks.

q-logic and probox have single cab boxes that go behind the seat. I have a couple of carpeted q-logic 10" boxes that im trying to get rid of for $75 + shipping if youre interested.

But most of your local audio shops will carry single cab boxes. As far as the stereo mounting kit, what year truck do you have?

Sorry. I guess the year of truck would be somewhat important :P

It's a '93.

Do you have any pictures of the box you have? What kind of speakers are in them? Thanks

The Q-logic, ProBox, and MTX Thunderform boxes are all nice boxes. Building a box is not too hard, and will be the cheapest, although the prices Exalted512 has on those boxes will be hard to beat!

As far as the radio goes, most places you order from, or go into to buy a radio from will be able to tell you exactly what you need for the install. For you model, I believe you'll need a mounting bezel for where the factory tape deck was, a radio delete panel (look to CKResto.com, or a dealership, as they are usually cheap!), and then the connector to the factory plug for the back of the head unit.

thats what they look like. They are 1.85ft^3 each.

I dont know the model numbers off hand for your radio, but I do know the wiring harness is metras 70-1858. Your local audio shop will have the kits for em. Usually audio shops are cheaper than best buy and circuit city.
