Stock H/U removal???

Hey I have a 2003 Silverado with the 6disc... and I was wondering... how do I remove the factory deck so I can get to the back of it... I am installing an ipod2car and I need to get back there to do it. Pics would be great! Thanks!

There should be some clips that hold the stock deck in. The first time I took mine out, it took me a little while to figure out, because they are hard to see. Once you have the dash trim off, look for some tabs on the sides.

you take the trim piece off that goes around your ac vents, ac controls and instrument cluster(you just pull it, make sure the steering wheel is all the way down and put your shifter into 1st gear), after thats off, youll have 3 7mm screws around the radio, then it just pulls out

I guess they changed it in '03? My '02 was held in with clips, but then again, I didn't have a slave unit or anything.
