uuuuuuuuuuuu
Look into Dayton subs, someone told me they were shallow. Can't you use a spacer between the box and sub? I've got a 10" Type R in an upfire box under my rear seat. That box must not use the full height available under your seat.

for some good 12's you could check out the sound splinter RLp 12 (http://www.soundsplinter.com/rlp12_premium_series_12_inch_DIY_subwoofer_informa tion.html) or you could check out image dynamics (http://www.imagedynamicsusa.com/index.php) they have some subs from different price levels that would suit your needs well... mainly the IDQ series.

i wouldn't try to spacer it. it'll end up kissing the floor on excursions. probox is a good box.
treo tsx or ssi 12. there's others also. tsx at least the 500.1, the ssi get a bigger amp or else you'll only be getting that sub just started.

The Rlp is sweet and exactly the 6.5 that you ask for. You do need a little room for clearance on the pole vent though.

Seen the Pioneer new Flat subs? They work GREAT BTW.
Try this link (http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v3/pg/album/compare/0,,2076_310069927,00.html)

Sorry, but anytime anything is listed as "max power" it loses all credibility as far as I'm concerned. Everyone who is even semi-knowledgeable in car audio, or audio period, knows that max power means nothing.

Image dynamics IDQ12
it's 5.75" mounting depth would be perfect for your box, as would the .85 cu.ft. of airspace your box has. As for power, get the 500.1 amp and send it all 500 to the sub(idq's can handle more than what ID's website says they can). And I can personally vouch from experience for the sound quality and loudness of the IDQ subs. I love my IDQ10 and am sending it it's max power rating with no problems.

Yup the IDQ's are nice, Also could consider the ARC Audio KAR line, there suppose to be the same as the IDQ's but a step up in quality, I run them now and love the SQ of them so you couldnt go wrong either way as well

Ya, been keeping an eye on ebay, but so far no luck.
Yeah, I had trouble with getting them to answer my e-mails when I was wanting to buy a box too.

Like stated above.... Check into the new Dayton's. Their Refererence HO & HF series. PartsExpress.com has them on sale, cheap, right now!:head:
I'm running a 10" HO in a boat right now. Sounds great in my truck, but I'm going to have to experiment with it to get some more out of it (more in the enclosure) for the boat application.
