11.4" LCD monitor, 3 air guages, also installed a clarion vrx765vd indash dvd flip out. i need to finish the console by putting the grey piping btwn the side panels and the middle section. i'm planning to do that this weekend.

I love how it blends with the interior.
I need to get my ass some better friends...those lazy SOB's are good for nothing.

the AVS central wire box is mounted under the dash on the driver side.
the suede is glued down, just as if you would suede a headliner or something. it took a while to get it to work right with all of those curves.
as for it blending with the interior...i actually think it doesnt go right now bc its the only thing suede. im planning to get katskins with suede inserts. i'm gonna suede a few more things inside, and i'm gonna paint the dash soon.(but not white)
I like the shape and style, you did a great job...hows the elbow height?

no i did not. sorry. i used 1/2" mdf and 1/4" mdf throughout the entire build with about 5 or 6 2x2 brace pieces btwn the two main side walls. it's sturdy as hell; i could stand on it.

The edges are really nice looking where the materials meet. I was wondering what you did exactly? I would imagine you folded the dges when you glued, but just wondering if you did anything differently.

you are correct. also, this weekend or next, i'm pulling the side pieces back off and inserting a lighter shade of grey piping in the seems so it really finishes it off where they meet up instead of just having the gap.

That looks awesome for a one day job. I'm assuming you had plans for it already and didn't just think it up on the spot?? As far as the shape, it's the most unique I've seen, and I can think of a nice other way to use it. That's a backseat F*** chair if you get your girl to lay over it:sheephump:hump: :naughty: Again, awesome job man.

I thought it was obvious so it didn't need to be pointed out...of course you can benderov'r and banger on it...isn't that the whole point behind a custom console??

That will be a project later on down the road, but Im like you, the whole fiberglass console thing dont do it for me, b/c of smuges and finger prints and stuff and scratches.
