I got from a friend for free 2 10" Sony Xplode subs and an amp. I have to build a custom box for my regular cab truck but don't know how much airspace they need so I am kinda stuck on what size to build my box. So my question is does anyone know how how much airspace those subs require in a sealed box or where I can find for myself?

like .75-1.00 cu ft would be fine in a sealed box.

Which ones are they? The P5 or the older ones?
If they are the P5 then .93 is the recommended volume per driver...

If you are putting the effort into a custom box, sell that sub and buy a different one.

I would, but a buddy of mine gave them to me for free and if I sold them I would feel guilty to give him the money. Here is the pics of the sub and amp. I don't know anything about them. I got them like 6 months ago and finally want to use them.

Then "trade" them for something else.

Are they really THAT bad? I'm not looking to win any competitions, just have some nice bass. What would be a good option for a sub box in a regular cab?
