I just recently came in possession of a Alpine CDA-9827. I currently have a Sony HU and I want to replace the Sony w/Alpine. Here's my question: Should I run one RCA cable to the crossover and then from the crossover to the amps? Or should I run one RCA cable to the sub amp and one RCA to the speaker amp? Which configuration is better? Is there any advantage to either methods?
Thanks for the help

I would run seperate rca's for each amp. Use the front preouts for the speaker amp and the rear or the sub preouts(not sure how many preouts that actual head unit has) to the sub's amp.

It has three, front and sub are your best choices.

agreed, will sound much clearer if you run seperate rca's
That head unit has 3 sets of 4 volt preouts. I would mos def make use of those unless your x-over has higher preout voltage than the deck and you really like the control of the x-over.
