I have 78K miles on my Suburban and right now a supercharger is not in my budget. I am thinking I will be able to get one around the same time next year. I'm sure there is a such thing as too many miles to get forced induction, but what is the limit?

My stock 98 had 120k on it before I put on an ATI P1SC. I was hitting it with 12 psi every chance that I had (water injection and 87 gas). After 80k of beating, #8 gave out (broke the rings).

Any info/ pictures you can give on the water injection would be appreciated. I have a Powerdyne on my 97' and am interested in the W/I.... Thank you..

As for the topic, I put my charger (11 psi) on my Yukon at 118,000 miles , blew the engine @ 129,300 while towing a 24' Toybox, race fuel, climbing a steep incline and foot to the floor passing slower traffic...Stupid = blown engine.

I put my WI set up together using my spare Nitrous parts. I use a pressure switch to activate a Nitrous solenoid that powers a high pressure diaphram pump. Drilled and tapped the hat using Nitrous nozzle. I think I have some pics posted in my gallery.

i put a v2 blower on a 1995 with 168,000 miles on it and changed the pulley to a 2.62 pushing 17 psi and now have 180,000 on it and still running strong.

Thanks guys, I had a friend tell me that 100K is the limit (Stupid Dodge drivers), but I figured the LS1 was much stronger than that. I dont plan on running water injection or anything like that, I just want a little something extra for the guys in the Hemi Rams and maybe an old Gen Lightning or two
