will hedders fit vortec heads

i think i am finally going to get around to putting hedders on my stock 92 blazer. what i want to know is if i buy hedders that fit my stock 92 350, will they also fit vortec heads if in the future i put in a crate motor with vortecs?

Yes, I got some vortec's on my '90 350 and the headers I was running still fit (afterburner's).
The exhaustports are at the same place.

While they may fit, the port shapes will likely be different. This difference may introduce some restriction / turbulence to your exhaust flow. Don't know if it would be significant enough to warrant any problems, but just FYI.

Just my .02 worth... if you plan to drop a crate motor in soon, why not wait and get headers that you KNOW will work with it? I would hate to spend hard-earned cash on something for the short-term, knowing that I had other not-to-distant upgrade plans that would possibly negate the expenditure.

The exhaust ports are pretty much identical from what I can remember with my failed swap to Vortecs... the intake ports are the main difference as far as I know.
