I'm not sure who makes them, but I got mine from Summit for like $50 each. They do the job! :D

Well, between my '72 Duster, '84 GMC Jimmy, '67 Chevelle, '87 Caprice, '91 BMW and the truck, '91 is pretty damn new to me!!! :D:D

I need one for the 98 and 2 for the 83. :read:

I think you can use the Catco's for the '98. You can definately use them on the farm truck.

I have 2 new 70 series flows I need to install on the farm rig and it's crossover needs to be raised. Would you run the pipes straight back or X pipe or what???

X-pipe as close to the cats./headers as you can get.:read:

Should I get an x pipe on mine? I have true dual right now with 2 Flowmasters, but one of my cats is tripping a code, so I'm wondering if I should do an X pipe.....

NO!:read: You do not have equal length tubes and an X-pipe will do NOTHING for you. Please don't waste your time and/or money on one.

BTW, is the cat bad, or is the O2 sensor bad. Something to look into.

Well, when I got it scanned, he said the cat was going bad, he also said something about my Flowmasters saying that because they are free-flowing that there isn't enough backpressure and that could be tripping the SES light.....ok, another question, if I shouldn't do a X pipe, what are the ads/disadvantages of a 2 in one out muffler compared to what I have 2 separate mufflers, which is gonna give me better performance.....

Nothing really as long as the muffler is a good name brand. It comes down to what will work out better for the room you have, tip location and/or money. I had a custom Y piece made for my '96 (dual cat truck) into a single 3" Borla in and out and love it.

Well, how does this system sound, I'm gonna get the Catco Y-pipe with 2 cats from summit, here's a link (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=27827). Then I was thinking about a Flowmaster American Thunder cat back system, here's the link (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=28391). Do you think this a good system? My current setup is all corroded, plus with the cat going bad I figure its a good time to replace my exhaust. Will having one muffler make it louder or deeper than having two seperate mufflers?

I have 2 Catco convertors that I installed 3000 miles ago. They are 2.5" and they might be dissapearing in the next few days. If someone is interested, let me know. Some of my neighbors stopped complaining, so its time to make it louder. They will be replaced with cutouts.:D

Sound fine, and as far as sound one muffler vs. two........hard to say, some people like the sound w/ one and some like the sound w/ two. Then again some people like glasspacks!  :D
