Suede headliner

Hey guys, i have an 03 Sierra and am planning on re covereing the headliner in black suede. My questions is whether or not i need to remove the stock cloth before or if i can just spray the addhesive over the cloth and streth the suede over that.

Yeah just put it over the stock cloth,if you tried removing it you would have to wire brush all the foam off cause its bonded to the cloth before its glued to the headliner. Be shur to use some good quality adhesive the stuff in the aresol can wont last.
