View Full Version : How much material for suede headliner?

I am getting ready to suede my headliner and I was just curious how much material everyone used because I wanna make sure that whatever I get is wide enough.
It would probably help to know what style cab you have or if its an SUV :read:

its for a 2000 silverado extended cab and yes i did get a tape measure and it measures 52 inches what i don't know his how much more it will take because of all the bumps and stuff.

Buy the widest material you can, the nbs headliners get wider at the front where the pillars are I forget how wide of material I got for the one I did but it was barely wide enough and I know another guy who had the same problem.

did u guys just use spray glue to adhere it to your headliners or is there a different way to do suede?

it seems like i read 60" wide gives you enough breathing room...but seems to be hard to find in that size (down here at least)
