I thought all the 93 or 94 and newer were cable shift?

not sure, i've got a 93 frame, and it appears to have the hole in it for the shifter, and its covered up by my shackle hanger.

I believe it was 88-91 trucks with 700R4 tranny that have a clearance issue with their shift linkage, I don't know how to swap to cable shift but here's how a guy on ps.com notched his ORU bracket to make room.

88-94 was linkage. 95 was the first year of a cable shifted tranny.
