I need some information on coilovers. I am wanting to install a SAS under my OBS 2 door Tahoe, but want to stay away from leaf springs. Nothin wrong with them, I am just looking for a better ride. I would like to clear 44's atleast, with a possibility of running 49's. I am familiar with building 4 links, 3 links, etc, but I just don't know very much about coil overs.

How do I know how long they need to be to clear a 44" tire? What spring rates would I need for a street driven OBS 2 door tahoe? What do I need to know about sway bars? Where can I buy them? What are some prices that ya'll have paid for yours? Any information is greatly appreciated.

Offtopic but I dont recommend 49s on a 2dr. My old two door got sideways on every lil bump with 265s on it lol thats just not enough wheel base for that kind of height imo

Darren250r has an OBS reg. cab shortbed that skys 40s w/ a 4link/coilover setup. Luke2KZ71 is also puttin coilovers on his NBS Ext. cab right now and it will clear 44s. Look for his truck in the thread. "SFA Trucks *new pics*". Highroller or highrollin or somethin like that has a white NBS GMC with a 4link and coilovers on 40s/20s. That should get you started a search may turn up some info as well.
