2005 Escalade Gauge Cluster

What's up guys?
I'm pretty new to the forum. I was wondering if you guys wouldn't mind helping me with some questions? I have a '05 GMC SIERRA SLT CC. I was wanting to install an Escalade gauge cluster. Does anyone know the GM part# for the '05 set? I have a buddy that's a porter at a local GM dealership that can get me gauges for cost if I give him the part#. Also, I'm lost on the funtions that are lost by replacing the original gauges with the Escalade gauges. Any help would be appreciated.:help: Thanks.

I don't know the part number off hand, but you may be better off getting one from Digital Dash Solutions on eBay. I paid $235 for my '05 Escalade Platinum cluster that I installed in my '06. That includes mileage/hours programming... which will normally cost you about $75 more if you were to buy a new GM cluster. The '01-'02 Escalade cluster is GM wholesale/employee cost @ $225, which would be the cheapest your buddy could get it for. I'd imagine the '03+ is a bit more.
