View Full Version : 6.0L Swap (Tune File)

Anybody have a tune file for swap from 4.8/5.3 to 6.0L to share. What need to be changed other than CI. Would like to go for a 4.8 to 6.0L swap in a 03 silverado and have a safe tune. Stock motor for now but when I get a cam and headers later will get a proffesional tune.

What software you using?
If HPTuners you can go to there sight and there are alot of stock tunes to download.

I have one that Wait4me sent to me, it is the performance tune with a CAI for my 02 6.0 if you would like that let me know and I will send it when I get home. It is not HPtuners it is I cant remember off the top of my head which is the one I have, it isnt HPtuners though so it may be different but will give you something to go off of

I would appreciate if you can send it to me. Was it done using LS1 edit or EFI live? How did u download it?

I assume it is for 1500 truck and 4L60E transmission, right?
